Who we are

BLU University LLC, a Florida limited liability company (“BLU University”, “we”, “us”), runs the website at blu.university and the BLU University online programs. Our address is 3 West Garden Street, Suite 714, Pensacola, FL 32502. You can reach us at info@bluuniversity.com or 850-304-7872.

This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It covers our website, our forms, and our student area at students.blu.university.

Information we collect

Information you give us:

  • When you request information, claim the free class, or apply: your first and last name, email address, phone number, zip code (not on the application), whether you are active, veteran or retired U.S. military, and how you heard about us.
  • On the application: your answers to our four questions about your business, your challenges and your goals.
  • If you agree to calls and texts: a record of your consent, including the time, the page and the exact wording you agreed to.
  • When you enroll or pay: your name, email, billing details and payment information. Payments are handled by our course platform, Kajabi, and its payment processors. We do not see or store your full card number.
  • As a student: your account details, your progress in classes, quiz results, work you submit, and messages you send us.
  • When you contact us by email or phone: what you tell us.

Information collected automatically:

  • Basic technical information when you visit, such as your browser, device, pages viewed and the site that sent you to us.
  • To stop spam, our form checks your connection with Cloudflare Turnstile and counts how many times a connection submits a form in an hour. For this count we store a scrambled code made from your internet address, never the address itself.
  • Cookies and similar tools, explained in our Cookie Policy.

How we use it

  • To answer your questions and send you the information or free class you asked for.
  • To review your application and have our admissions team contact you.
  • To enroll you, take payment, give you access to your classes and support you as a student.
  • To call, text or email you about our educational services, if you agreed to it. You can stop at any time (see “Your choices and rights”).
  • To keep the site secure and stop spam and abuse.
  • To understand how the site is used and improve it, where analytics are allowed.
  • To credit partners who referred you to us.
  • To keep records and meet our legal obligations.

We do not use your information to make automated decisions about your admission.

Cookies and tracking

We use cookies for the site to work, to remember your cookie choices, and, where allowed, for analytics, advertising and affiliate tracking. Visitors from the European Union, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked before any of these load. Everywhere, we honor the Global Privacy Control signal for advertising and affiliate tracking. We never place the Meta (Facebook) pixel on pages that play video, or in the student area. Full details are in our Cookie Policy, and you can change your choice at any time with “” at the bottom of every page.

Sharing with service providers

We share personal information only with companies that help us run BLU University, and only for that purpose:

  • Kajabi: our course platform, student accounts, checkout and email. It also receives free class sign-ups from our website. Payments are processed by Kajabi’s payment partners.
  • Netlify: hosts our website and processes our forms.
  • Resend: sends the confirmation emails for our website forms, and passes information requests and applications to our admissions inbox.
  • Cloudflare: Turnstile spam protection.
  • Google: our email (Google Workspace) and, where allowed, Google Analytics.
  • Meta: advertising measurement, where allowed, never on video pages.
  • FirstPromoter: tracks referrals from our partners, where allowed.
  • Wistia and Vimeo: host our videos.
  • Our calling and texting providers: to call and text people who agreed to it.

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or merger of our business.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Some advertising cookies may count as “sharing” under certain state laws. You can opt out with “” or by turning on Global Privacy Control in your browser.

Your information may be stored and processed in the United States.

Your choices and rights

  • Emails: every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
  • Texts: reply STOP to any text to stop receiving them. Reply HELP for help.
  • Calls: ask us to stop calling and we will.
  • Cookies: use “” at the bottom of any page, or Global Privacy Control.
  • Access, correction and deletion: email info@bluuniversity.com to ask for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to delete it. We will confirm your request and answer within 30 days. We may keep some information where we need it for records, payments or legal reasons, and we will tell you if so.
  • Depending on where you live, you may have more rights under local law, such as rights under the GDPR for visitors in Europe. Contact us to use them. If you are in Europe and are not happy with our answer, you can complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

Our programs are for adults and for students whose parent or guardian has agreed to enroll them. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, email info@bluuniversity.com and we will delete it.

Data security and retention

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. That includes encrypted connections (HTTPS) on every page, spam protection on every form, limited staff access, and payment handled only by our payment processors. No system is perfectly secure, so we can’t promise absolute security.

How long we keep information:

  • Form submissions and consent records: for as long as we have a relationship with you, and as long as needed for our records, unless you ask us to delete them.
  • Student and payment records: for as long as you are a student and then as long as the law or our records require.
  • The scrambled code used to count form submissions: about one hour.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will tell students by email or on the site.
